The TLD Sample Workshop has been added to the service offering and completes a range of unparalleled development services. All of which are available for Brands to utilise as required.This provides a fully - integrated service where we can create full shoe samples under our complete control and inside our own facility. This incredible service allows both our customer and ourselves the complete freedom and the resources to back it up and be able to rise to the challenge of building any footwear . Together with the ability to:

• Produce our own 2D and 3D CAD - Design and Engineering
• Top gauges and other vital engineering data
• Design with shoe production in mind
• Design Engineer through integrated software systems
• Develop and screen test lasts
• Pattern engineer
• Costing at every sample stage to include pattern nesting, material wastage
• All with a seamless connection from the Footwear Design and Footwear Concept departments
• Order our own materials
• Working directly with the second-tier material and component suppliers
• Working directly with mould and tooling shops

The inclusion of the Sample Workshop has allowed our customers the option to develop their products in full and total confidence that it is being developed in a secure environment. Particularly when working through the issues involved with New Technologies or New Processes where confidentiality is paramount. Ensuring that competitive advantages are maintained and investments protected through this key stage in the Product Life Cycle.

Many of our customers have taken advantage of the Sample Workshop production space to address some other issues they have in their process. Particularly for our athletic-based Shoe Brands which have many professional and college stars that they need to support and other promotional requirements for the teams they work with which often require special attention.

Other customers are interested in the using the opportunity to use some of their core products as a vehicle for customisation. Our Sample Workshop is able to handle these individual requests for existing clients and deliver customised footwear directly to the end-user within a few weeks of you sending the order.
If the colour, material and model offerings are restricted then it is possible to stock materials and reduce this time even further.
