On-time Footwear Commercialisation
Our technicians specialise in commercialising products to pre-determined timelines agreed together with our customers right at the beginning of the whole chain of footwear production events. This allows us to get the processes in place and the factory prepared for a smooth transition into the production areas.
Product teardown meetings and production trials are held at all key stages to achieve this. Careful consideration is given to the many and varied aspects of the shoemaking process including: cost, performance, quality and end-user needs and expectations in order to find the optimum methods of assembly required to produce each model.
Our pre-production meetings and trials and later with the full-blown production trials we try to ensure that problems are not found on the footwear production lines but instead are found and issues addressed and rectified before that stage. Thereby building good quality in and not simply inspecting bad quality out.
During this stage there is still a large involvement from the customer as there is a need to ensure that grading has maintained the consistency across the size range whilst minismising capital costs for moulded componentry tooling, minimum-order-quantities for materials and many other factors that can affect all projects to a varying degrees. Also need to ensure that the grading process is not detracting at all from the final performance of the products across the full range of sizes. The customer is also the final arbiter of any of the material, fit or wear testing that is carried out during this time. Again, to have an element of guarantee that nothing gets lost or forgotten when going from the sample stage to the full size stage.
